Blackberry Brambilicious recipe from 101 Blender Drinks cookbook by Kim Haasarud
- 5 blackberries
- 1 1/2 ounces gin
- 1 ounce simple syrup (recipe follows)
- 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1/2 ounce creme de cassis
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup hot water
Combine the blackberries, gin, simple syrup, lime juice, and creme de cassis in a blender and blend for about 5 seconds. Add about 1 cup of ice and blend until smooth. Pour into a cocktail glass.
In a small bowl or glass, combine the sugar with the hot water and stir until completely dissolved. Let cool completely before using. Keep covered and refrigerated.
