Breakfast for Dinner: Recipes for Frittata Florentine, Huevos Rancheros, Sunny-Side-Up Burgers, and More!
Inside Breakfast for Dinner you’ll find more than 100 classic breakfast recipes made with a twist. Enjoy hearty “brinner” dishes like Bacon Fried Rice, Breakfast Ravioli, Pizza over Easy, and Cornmeal Pancakes with Beer-Braised Short Ribs, plus such sweet treats as Sunrise Margaritas and Maple Bacon Cupcakes—to name just a few. This cookbook is a breakfast lover’s dream come true.
I have to immediately post a disclaimer: the authors of Breakfast for Dinner — Lindsay Landis and Taylor Hackbarth — are also the dynamic duo behind Purr Design, a web & graphic design firm: “design good enough to eat.” Why does that matter? It matters immensely to me because they recently spent many hours patiently (very patiently!) dealing with my nonstop questions and nit-picky requests during their redesign of the Cooks&Books&Recipes website. And look at the result! Their professional work resulted in a site that is not only graphically striking but also smooooothly organized. It’s easy to navigate and a joy to look at. So even though this cookbook had my husband ready to cook and eat nonstop (yes, he’s a “breakfast guy,” no matter the time of day), I knew my praise might be suspect.
Instead, I’m going to point you to some of the numerous other reviews of Breakfast for Dinner elsewhere on the web:
And don’t miss Cooks&Books&Recipes Featured Cook Amy‘s testing and review of the Chocolate Brownie Waffles. I’m confident you’ll soon share my enthusiasm for Lindsay and Taylor’s design AND cooking skills.
