Bacon & Brussels Sprouts Mac ‘n’ Cheese Recipe from Week in a Day: Five Dishes, One Day cookbook, by Rachael Ray
OK, let’s just throw three of my all-time favorite foods into one dish, shall we? And let’s make that dish easy to assemble and cook, whether to eat that night or to refrigerate for later in the week–meaning there’s a great meal waiting on a night that I don’t want to do anything at all. (Yes, for me, that’s most nights.)
Two small criticisms I have with this recipe for Bacon & Brussels Sprouts Mac ‘n’ Cheese are: (1) there is no step about actually assembling the casserole (size of the casserole dish? should it be buttered/greased?); and (2) I’d like at least a very general time estimate for “Return the casserole to room temp” (15 minutes? an hour?).
But it really doesn’t matter. For this recipe, I’m more than willing to figure out the answers.
